ABOUT MILLHAVEN NORTH

Millhaven North is one of the largest certified sites in Northeast Louisiana

- EXPAND YOUR BUSINESS IN THE BEST STATE FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT -

Businesses from all over the world are learning what an exciting place North Louisiana is. Monroe, Louisiana is the birthplace of Delta Airlines, one of the first locations in which Coca-Cola was bottled, and it is the home of the third largest telecommunications company in the United States – CenturyLink. The state of Louisiana has taken great strides in creating aggressive business incentives for new or relocating companies. Louisiana has a strong academic infrastructure for advanced manufacturing, with research universities providing innovation and leadership in technology.

The Millhaven North site is exceptionally located near the heart of this activity. With 3 major universities within a 50-mile radius, the area is already populated with a highly trained workforce. Easy access to rail, port, and highway systems allows businesses the opportunity to link their operations to the rest of the world.

Originally a 726-acre tract of land, 86 acres have been purchased by DHL Supply Chain, North America, for a plant and logistics center to be used by Graphic Packaging International. Construction of the 1.27-million-square-foot facility began in the spring of 2017. DHL completed the new logistics center in the fall of 2018, with Graphic Packaging consolidating the production of its two West Monroe carton plants into the new combined converting facility in 2019. This site is highly suited for industrial, research, or warehousing facilities. While most of the land surrounding the site is farmland, extended communities would welcome light retail as well. As an LED certified site, the property has received a clean bill of health and is shovel-ready.

Three national rankings (Area Development, Business Facilities, and Site Selection) rank Louisiana in the top 10 states in which to do business. Site Selection magazine ranks Louisiana 7th in the nation as having the best business climate, 1st for per capita project expansions and 1st for competitiveness.

The best part? For companies that will create jobs and invest in the community, this land is available at a great price. There is no better time to invest in your business and no better place to do it than Millhaven North.
